Hogar Café (Ogar Coffee) - homemade coffee, carefully grown and lovingly collected on small family farms at the foot of the Andes, in Colombia.

The history of Hogar coffee began 10 years ago, when our international family left the city and moved to the Pachamama farm to work on the land, drawing its energy, to be closer to nature and its nature. Over the years, we have combined neighboring farms with the idea of environmentally friendly methods for cultivating coffee and have decided to independently organize the full cycle of coffee production: from our tree to your cup.

Today we can offer you the freshest Colombian SPECIALTY coffee, the origin and quality of each grain of which we know absolutely everything!

* The term specialty is used to refer to the highest quality coffee that has been certified by the SCAA-Association of Specialty American Coffee, which guarantees its origin, grade, method of cultivation and processing.

Here, in Colombia, near the cities of Pereira and Manizales, at the foot of the majestic Andes, above 1,400 meters above sea level, our coffee berries are ripening on young volcanic soils. The soft shadow of Colombian plane trees and fruit trees protects our crop from the direct rays of the sun that are destructive to coffee, allowing the berries to pick juice, ripen evenly and acquire their own unique multi-faceted taste.
We manually pick and sort the berries, wash and dry them in the sun, fry and pack them in high-tech packaging with a check valve to preserve the freshness and quality of the grain. We do not mix coffee of different yields and farms, so we can accurately say which coffee tree grains are sent to your table. This allows us to guarantee the high quality and pedigree of our specialty coffee (SCAA scores above 85 points).

At Pachamama, we use natural pest control methods and natural fertilizers. We carefully and respectfully treat our land, following the ancient Aztec proverb: "The earth will become what its people are."

Our house and household are always open to guests. We gladly accept and organize agricultural tours, sharing with guests the exciting process of growing and processing coffee.

Welcome to the coffee!
